Nina is letting me, her mother, write my own entry on her blog. It is a very big honor and I thank her for the opportunity.
Nina is about to turn 6 on Monday! Monday is also her first day of full time school in person. I am very excited for her. I know she is going to have a wonderful time. Even though it will be awesome and fun, it is a big change, so I hope she is kind to herself and patient as she gets used to the new schedule and meets new friends. She may be tired after her longer days, so we will rest and relax after school. Maybe we will read books, watch a movie, and snuggle and listen to music. Nina's brother, Xavi, will be very happy to see her after school! I'm sure he will miss her during the school day.
I am very happy to be Nina's mom! When she was born 6 years ago on Easter Sunday, it was one of the happiest days of my whole life. I was so happy, I cried. I was very excited to take care of her and watch her grow. Over the past 6 years, we have had tons of fun together.
I am very proud of how Nina is growing up and the kind of person Nina is. She is adventurous, silly, brave, funny, loving, curious, creative, and yes: dramatic . She loves to learn. She is friendly to everyone she meets. She is energetic and loves to try new things. She is doing awesome in kindergarten and loves to read and write and do lots of art. She enjoys music and dancing and making up her own songs. She asks very smart questions and is good at trying to figure things out.
I love her and I like her. I love her even when I'm mad and more than coffee and ice cream. I am wishing her a happy birthday and can't wait to CELEBRATE!
